MICHAEL SHORT
Michael short is Chief Pilot and Director of Operations. Michael has nearly thirty years of experience flying helicopters and holds an Airline Transport Pilot rating in helicopters. He has logged over 16,000
hours of helicopter time and 1,000 hours of fixed wing flight. His vast experience includes military combat, newsgathering, areal videography, offshore operations, firefighting and flight instruction. Michael has lived and worked around the globe, and has called Grand Junction home for the last seven years.
WILL SANDERS
Will is one of Colorado Vertical's Managers and pilots. He holds commercial pilot ratings for helicopters, multi engine airplanes and single engine airplanes. He has logged over 1,800 hours of flight time, most of that Colorado mountain flight experience. He is a Colorado native, and has lived and flown almost all of Colorado.
CLAY VOSS
Clay is an FAA certified flight instructor with a contagious sense of humor and a ton of experience with the Enstrom helicopter. He will give you a solid education at your pace.
Sterling Watson
Sterling has over 1000 hours of flight experience here in Colorado, most of it in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo area. He has been a flight instructor since Feb. of 2007 and has logged over 900 hours of instruction and commercial helicopter work in Robinson Helicopters.

Kristen Sanders
Kristen is one of Colorado Vertical's Managers. She is also a full time mom and is very busy most of the time with her real duties. Kristen does much of the marketing and work behind the scenes to keep Colorado Vertical flying.
